About Me
How It Started
I started out wanting to be a performer. I was 14 when I started writing songs. 17 when I got my first Grammy nomination. 23 when I moved to Nashville. Music was my life it shaped me, healed me, gave me a voice. Music is my heart. However, I got tired. Tired of the politics, tired of the games, and mostly, tired of feeling powerless, when I was actual powerful. So to harness that power, I applied to law school, was accepted, and started in the fall of 2023.
Where It’s At
Welcome to Girl Code of Law; a platform to blend my artistic work and background with legal perspectives and endeavors. There is an under-representation of women in law, the work they do, and the value they have to share with other women.
